Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your SUEDE Studio account and the data associated with it. It applies to the SUEDE Studio app and to suedestudioclt.com, both operated by SUEDE Studio LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina.

How to request deletion

Email hello@suedestudioclt.com from the email address on your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject line. Include the full name on the account so we can match it.

If you can no longer send mail from that address, email us anyway and tell us the name and phone number on the account. We may ask one or two questions to confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.

We reply to confirm we have received the request, and again once the deletion is done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and login
• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your booking history and upcoming reservations
• Your membership record and visit history
• Your door and room access credentials
• Your email and text message preferences, and your device tokens for app notifications

What we keep, and why

Two things we have to keep even after your account is gone:

• Signed liability waivers. We keep these as a record of the agreement you signed, for as long as the law allows a claim to be brought.
• Payment and transaction records. We keep invoices and charge records for tax and accounting purposes. Card numbers are never stored by us — payments are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own records under its own policy.

These records are kept separately, are not used to contact or market to you, and are not used to rebuild your account.

How long it takes

We delete your information within 30 days of confirming your request, except for the records described above.

If you have an active membership

Deleting your account cancels your membership and ends your access to the studio. Deletion is permanent — bookings, visit history and membership credits cannot be restored afterward, and a new account would start from scratch.
